Shopify will pay you based on the deposit amount collected at checkout. When you collect the remaining balance, you will receive the remaining payout.
Yes. Downpay can be used as a layaway solution where the product is only shipped when it has become fully paid.
Shopify POS does not support partial payments. Downpay orders placed online can have their remaining balance collected in POS.
Most apps that assign product options to existing variants work with Downpay. Apps using draft orders to add options or fees are not supported. A full list of compatible apps is available.
Downpay supports Shopify Payments (credit cards and Paypay Express) and Stripe. Shopify Plus merchants can also use Adyen.
